Bot not starting

I would post a log but I can't because it doesn't start and the log files remain empty.
I never had a problem like this before and I'm a buddy ancient. *feelsbadman*

info:
Fresh install
ran the prerequisite program, got all the required stuff installes
windows 8.1
click exilebuddy
nothing happens

Any ideas ?

The first thing to check is to make sure you have all the new pre-reqs installed.

Typically the bot not opening at all means another program is blocking it, so make sure your AV/FW aren't stopping it.

Right click on the exe and go to Properties and make sure you don't have to "Unblock" the file either, as sometimes Windows locks files that you download then copy somewhere else.

my bot also instant crashes, where do i get the new pre-reqs?

i also crash after i copy/pasted the beta to my VM.

Is Buddy Wizard still working/up to date?

Buddy Wizard has saved a lot of time for me when i set up new machines/windows...

I think Buddy Wizard support is being dropped due to issues with antivirus products thinking its malware. We're adding installers for all our bots to avoid this issue in the future, but the installer needs to come with a Release version of Exilebuddy which isn't ready yet.
