Bot not selling again.

This was fixed previously and now is happening again. Stands at vendor with vendor windows open and is trying to sell or repair but nothing happens.

catch 22. My logs are between 2 - 15 gig. Tony wants full logs. board wont allow zipped logs of the size mine become after compression. Tony crac ks a shit when I upload log file to sendfile and post link to the file. Log doesnt get looked at.
So I will just let them know what is happening and if it gets seen to then it does. if not. well I am kinda over it.

You seem to be the only one with this issue. Must be limited to what you are doing/using. I can tell you its not bw.exe and that's what controls vendor selling.

A log that big and not very helpful since it will just be spamming random combat and nav server information.

I have tried a few times trying to get this to happen and does not happen on any of my many accounts.

I actually get this problem sometimes when my swtor window is minimized. When its not minimized, he sells fast with no problem.

I too had this problem today, but I believe it was due to having an item in my inventory that wasn't sellable and wasn't in the protected list ( Dr. Oggurobb Hutt Holostatue ). After adding it to the protected list, the problem is no longer present.

I thought I had added that to the list. Maybe I spelled something wrong. I just double checked mine and it had "Dr. Oggurobb Hutt Holostatue" is currently in my protected items list. This is why I just had this list updated so that less vendor bugs would happen. They need to add a while loop to skip over items but I don't think that is happening anytime soon.

I hope when all of you update buddywing you DELETE your settings folder/protected.xml so that you get the most current one.

I made the mistake of not doing a fresh install after the last update ( that's what you get for being in a hurry ). I checked the protected file in the download and you are correct, it is there. This is another good example of why we should all follow the "best practices" laid out by our fine developers and do a fresh install after each update.

I shall now head to the box of shame for 5 minutes.

Most of time if you update buddywing via auto updater you wouldn't have run into this issue. Just it doesn't delete older setting files if they are update in the core bw.exe logic.

Yes I updated in a hurry before work using the auto updater. If it causes problems it should be disabled. It boggles my mind how this company works most of the time.

I just always use fresh copies because of all my testing of stuff. Please post your results so we can narrow this down. Just make sure not to have any cartel items in your bag since those can't be sold. The new protected item list should prevent issues but if not I would love to know!

All the auto updater is doing is updating the Buddywing.exe to work with the latest version of SWTOR and NOT YOUR PERSONAL SETTINGS. So any time Buddywing has detected certain charters it compiles a xml file with your mount name and if to harvest nodes etc. Same thing for the protected items list. It would over write your protected file after a few restarts and uses since buddywing compiles each time you open it but not always as you can see from other posts.
