Bot not flying when using flying mounts.

Hi everyone,
First I want to say thank you to Boss, Kick, and several others for this program, plug-ins, Custom classes and so on. You have brought fun back to WoW for me, and I appreciate it.

Now, here is what is happening, and after several hours of turning things on and off and searching the forums and wiki for something I have missed.

I am using Kicks Questing profile, 58-70, Flying.
I have the bot set to questing.

My bot will select a random mount (I have tried turning only a flying mount on and removing the random selection)... then run on the ground to the next hotspot. It always runs on the ground, even if it chooses a flying mount.

Now, I did run the Gatherbuddy2 with professionbuddy plugin and a mining-herb profile, and it did fly from node to node. But, when going back to the questing profile and bot, it goes back to running along the ground, no matter what mount it chooses.

Attached is my log, I hope this is right.

I'd like to suggest using the "LetMefly" plugin, simple plugin that makes a jump everytime you run on the ground

My mounting while using questing bot doesn't seem to be working, when I type in the name "Blue Wind Rider" but once it replaces that with the item id, it breaks.

edit: I thought his mounting wasn't working at all, didn't realize he was running on ground.

Thanks Dge, but,

I guess I didn't put enough information in from all the stuff I was trying. If it let it go, it tries to run along the ground, as I said. If I press space to get off the ground, as I was thinking, maybe it just needs to get some air, but, it heads right back to the ground and continues running again.

... looks rather suspicious to me... running along the roads on a flying mount, the entire length of hellfire peninsula.

set all your mount settings on auto and let it run

But i will post a log, that is completely due to HB (archaeology), where it does extreme long runs on a digsite - instead of flying. Just need to get to the digsite again and such

I got Kicks SVN link from sort of a round about way through other threads, response from response from response sort of thing, and never saw that original post about details.

Crazy! it's doing just what it is supposed to be doing! Whodathunk it?

I have a similar problem, but actualy quite different but, my bot doesn't mount at all, I'm a worgen could that be it?

In the Honorbuddy -> Plugins -> Free -> Movement forum, you can find both Letmefly and Ezfly plugins. Both of these allow you to use a profile that was not designed with flight support and will 'jump' (to take off) and fly at a given altitude to the next hotspot. I haven't tried LMF, but I can tell you that I use Ezfly and it works very well for me.
