bot movement issue

Hello,

I'm having some serious issues with my bot. It walks/runs back and forth, making odd turns and randomly dismouting to move 2 feet, jump and move back. This is running kick's profile, but I do not believe it's an issue with his profiles.

I made sure I have the latest revision of his profiles (updating daily), copied the behaviours.

I also made sure I did not have cache corruption by completly removing and re-downloading HB. I deleted WoW cache and Battle.net cache aswel.

The bot is running on my server. I will test the bot soon on my desktop aswel to check if it does it there aswel.

Any idea's on this?

Update: The bot seems to run perfectly fine on my dekstop. A few stucks here and there but it does not do the weird movements.

it tries or it mounts and then dismounts again?

I'll try to describe it as accurate as possible. It wants to run from A to B. But in between it moves forward, backwards and forward again, dismounts and walks 2 feet, jumps and mounts again to run in a circle. Once it finally reaches B it runs almost in a circle around the NPC before it finally reaches it and gets the quest or turns it in. If needed I could try to record it.

turn in manually Return to Thrallmar quest and restart Hb

It's not just that quest, it does this from the start of DK zone. And I cannot figure out why.

gimme a log with Return to Thrallmar completed plz

Hi, ZioN822,

From your description, it could be a couple of things:

  • Honorbuddy is not getting enough frame per second in the WoWclient to do its job.
We would like to see a minimum of 20 frames/sec, unless you want to stumble around (and fall off cliffs and such). The 'ideal' number is 30 frames/sec. This is the "knee in the curve" where Honorbuddy runs smoothly, and adding additional frame/sec does not provide a corresponding increment in Honorbuddy performance.

You might try elevating the WoWclient process priority slightly, and see if this helps the problem out. You need to be between 20-30 frame/sec on the WoWclient.

  • The other possibility could be a plugin.
Particularly, plugins that use forms of Thread.Sleep() will cause erratic behavior like you describe. Try disabling all your Honorbuddy plugins, and see if that eliminates the problem. If so, then its a process of elimination to find the offending plugin(s).

cheers,
chinajade

Thanks ChinaJade,

It might be an FPS issue, it's running on a server with a crappy GT 220 graphics card. I'll look into the fps later today.

Update: FPS is really low sadly. I could run it with bot without issues before.
