Bot Idling

It was working fine before, but after I stopped and started it it now just stands there and does nothing. If I try to talk to an NPC, it skips all the conversations and it also fights for me, so the bot is working, it just doesn't want to move anywhere. It's working on another toon, so I don't know what's going on.

Yes; wait till the updated bot comes out for the new SWTOR patch, and have a little patience
 
Alright, I got the bot not to force close by disabling plugins, and it still just idles. Here's a log, it did nothing, then I clicked on the quest giver NPC manually and it fast forwarded the convo, but still stands there doing nothing:

Republic 10+ light / dark is Consular ONLY! Since that's what I developed it with. It may not work work for the other 3 classes, and it will not do class quests. If you want to develop class quests, I will take the syntax - just please tell me where to paste it in at! This will help with development.​

Since you state it works for other toons, my suspicion is you've run into a profile bug, and will have to work around things for yourself for a bit. What usually helps me:
  1. Do the class quests manually, then see if the profile will start working again, or
  2. Look at the status line and see what the profile is trying to accomplish, and comment out the corresponding lines of the profile
Alas, sometimes doing both of the above is insufficient, and you just have to play by hand until you get realigned with the Profile (which may be the next planet <sigh>).

Well, I'm not doing coruscant manually again that's for sure. Over a month now and we still can't complete the second planet properly.

What seems to be happening is that the bot is getting confused with its current location or is thinking something is complete, when its not...but because of this...it ends up hammering the PathService which is used for Navigation. So the longer this sort of bug is not fixed, the more hammering to the web service will be done.

You can see this happening if you download something like Fiddler HTTP Debugger, you can see all the web-service calls it makes, this can help you decide when you should intervene in the bots process, i.e to move the bot to another area, use quick travel, finish or click on something. If it keeps sending the same SOAP request and the Service is responding with the same response each time, you'll have to manually do something.

However, I only usually need to intervene once an hour or so. Stop the bot, finish part of the quest or do something which it thought it had clicked but didn't and then tell the bot to continue.

What's more of a worry is the amount of times it crashes, as if there are memory leaks within the application, but i have no idea as to how the core of this bot works.
 
Not quite sure if this is offtopic, anyway is anyone using the bot with trooper (vanguard) ? The bot runs towards a hostile target, waits till its in melee range and then starts spamming 1 DoT ability over and over again, till all the ammo is consumed, then it just sits there for 10 sec till its able to do it again.

Instead of using auto attacks (hammer shot) or any of the other major damage dealing abilities.

I am having the same issue with my trooper I have attached the log file as well. Just idles uses 1 ability and dies most of the time. Also it just stands there and dies in the end. Really dissapointed at the moment I have a Key to all Most of the bots you guys run and to be honest this has really been a let down.

Don't install Buddywing to your Desktop. Please don't install it in C:/Program Files/, either. In some versions of Windoze, that has an additional set of limitations.

Instead, install it someplace proper like C:/Games/Buddywing. That should fix you right up.

Alright, I'll try that. I didn't have it on desktop before, but Sneakyman assisted me through Teamviewer and he installed it on desktop ^^, it did fix my issues at first though.

And now I'm back to 'no routines loaded' again. Would it be possible to just get a refund? I doubt this is ever going to work.
 
I have been getting the no routine compile error again as well. Most times by deleting the compiled folder it fixes.

Doesn't fix it for me, Sneakyman tried pretty much everything he knew and in the end was left clueless with why it doesnt work for me. I guess my computer is just 'special'. If one of you experts doesnt know why this happens to me or how to fix it then I will never understand it :/
