Bot error everytime I try and update

So I keep getting this error every time I try and update the bot. What can I do to fix it?

Doesn't do anything. Uninstall using control panel then delete honorbuddy folder. Restart and reinstall and it does the same thing.
 
thats impossible,if you download latest build the update window will not pop since you are already on latest build
 
If updater is not working for you simply download the archive file and extract it to a new folder. Do not copy anything over from an old installation and you are ready to go.
The updater problem is an issue of your pc, maybe a missing or wrong installed .netframework issue or a rights problem. It's not a general HB issue.

I've had the issue as well (Windows 10) I believe the issue is related to the fact that it doesn't close Honorbuddy before attempting the install.

can you reproduce it every time?
 
I've had the issue as well ..for me was my download manager always when i try to download HB says : "if existing file is comlete,show download complete dialog,otherwise resume it"..so i disable the download manager and finaly i got the last version of HB
 
The way I managed to fix the problem was by manually deleting every thing I could find of honorbuddy and redownlaoding the zip file. Uninstalling seemed to leave things behind. Using the installer version of honorbuddy didn't seem to override whatever was left over.
