Bot Detection: How it happened...

Lets try and figure this out. We need to find some consistencies between players and why some people were banned, and others weren't. Then we can rule out whether it was program detection, specific bots within the program, or statistic gathering.

1. Were you banned?
2. When was the last time you used honorbuddy?
3. What did you use honorbuddy for (arena/bgs/leveling/garrison/farming etc.)?
4. Did you use combats routines or kickbot for PvP?

Already know how it happened... They stuck with x86and got pinched for it. 32bit detection was public knowledge awhile ago.

HB was detected. Not sure how many times people need to say this for the minority to accept it.

I know people who were using it and did not get banned. One used it as recently as Friday. How did they avoid the ban wave? How did some players have some accounts banned but not others even though they botted on both?

im not saying shit to a person posting with a 5/14 join date asking me all about my botting habits. what i used, when i used it, what botbases. it really looks like you are gathering data to compare with information you already have.

maybe you have tons of data on bot users but cant decipher it. you need a primer to unlock the data. sorry, not getting it from me.

The accounts was flagged weeks ago and then they where compiled onto a banlist, and then they used the list. not on the list = not banned.

But how did regular botters avoid being on that list?

Some players claim their mains got banned but their farming accounts weren't touched?

I didn't PVP ever. never used routines in pve raids. I used HB to lvl toons and farm enough bloods for a week each week. usually monday or tuesday. i ran firelands for gold about 8 hrs per week. other than garrisonbutler ran every morning. i botted less than 12 hrs each week. this was on my main account. on top of that i didnt even play wow the last 1-2months. just the routine i stated. i was banned and denied on my appeal.

i read your post a few times, did i miss where you stated if you had been banned or not?

it sucks to have your personal account banned when you only botted for personal enjoyment. i lost my raid toon a month or so ago. sad to see that one go.

Cause heck anyone can join and anyone can view the forums including blizzard, idiots that hate bots..etc It's not hard to make a policy to only allow botters that pay for HB to join or view this forum.. comon.

yeh bro, cause that 25usd entry fee to the forums would totally shut down blizzards access to the forums. you should run for office. or just run....away
