Bot account interacting with main

Up until now I've always botted on my main account but never really done anything other than level or a small amount of gathering every now and then. However now I'm wanting to start up a second account and do a large amount of gathering on it (10-12 hours a day). I will run it whenever I'm on my computer and always watch it on a 3rd monitor so I should be fairly safe.

I am unsure how I should protect my main account from getting banned for trading large numbers of herbs/ore/gold. From what I have been told using a guild bank to transfer is also a quick way to get yourself banned and straight up mailing/trading across accounts is also a very quick ban.

Can anyone inform me of how they interact with their bot accounts and avoid getting banned?

if you don't bot at all on your main account then it's unlikely that you'll get perm banned straight off on that account (but not impossible, ofc)

use a different pc or IP address for the bot account, mail/trade/do whatever you feel's easiest - i prob send a hundred or more stacks per ore/herb from my bot account to my main via the mail each day and I've been fine so far.

if you get banned on the main account then appeal it, if you get banned on the bot account then that's up to you, just use buddymanager and/or HBrelog to mix up your profiles and characters every so often

when mop released i botted 2 accs with bg, later i used both for gathering, sending everything they find to my
AH twink on my main acc, who posts the items and then sends gold (only large amounts 20-100k) to my main.
the first two weeks i botted 1 acc 24/7, which got banned later, but i managed to get in unbanned.
now i'm botting like 10-12h a day on both accs. every now an then 5min stop to relog HB into main acc for AHbuddy .
made 2mio, sold 1mio and now while prices are dropping to 10g/snowlilystack im starting to level some twinks for guildxp ^^
