Boss Farming?

In short, has anyone here tried boss farming profiles?

I'm trying one, and was just curious about boss drops vs elite mob drops....

I heard legendary plans are likely to drop from bosses if you have 5 stacks of NV. Is this true, and if so, is it the only real benefit to farming bosses instead of elites/mobs?

i used to boss farm, but that was just to abuse the XP awarded.

IMO the best items ive EVER gotten are from white's & champs

well ever since the whole 5 stack NV thing became popular, blizzard has seemed to want you to have that to get other things.
I wouldnt be suprised but i don't know for sure.

I believe I read that the plans for legendary items had a 50% increased chance of dropping off of inferno bosses if you had 5xNV....

But then again, I can't seem to find where I read that at. Seemed it was a legit post though.

I dunno about legendary plans but BOA crafting plans have a higher drop rate. But it was only really worth it the first day.
