BoA gear after level 80?

Hello

As many of you know some BoA gear stops leveling with you after level 80. Do you keep them on just for the bonus exp or do you replace them with regular items?

I think how it works is that when you hit 80 the stats on the item will not change depending on your level.

i keep them while lvling (mining & herbs).. just change the weapon, cuz no bonus exp and any cata blue is better..

This, no bonus exp after lvl 80 and even the low lvl cata greens are way better.

Yeah, sadly Blizz either forgot or had no intention of fixing BoAs to scale to the new level range for leveling. There are two pieces, however, that you can purchase thorugh Guild Rep, and they are head/back I believe, that do scale to level 85 and offer exp bonus, I *think*. I haven't gotten them yet as I am only friendly with my level 25 guild and am trying to raise rep, but it's painfully slow.

Head/Back heirloom pieces from the guild vendor work up to 85 although they are of course replaced as soon as I ding 85.

Helm and cape BoA only works, says right on the gear.

Unless I'm mistaken, I think the 80 gear still works from 81-85 (ie provides stats/xp) but their numbers stop increasing at 80.
