BM/SV DPS Comparison

Since 5.3 I've been struggling with a few honorbuddy CRs in terms of actually getting them to work and also getting solid performance (DPS-wise and function-wise) out of them. It's been a weird time but lately things have been updated and I felt like making a comparison between the CR's I've tested.

First, let's examine my hunter:

> ~18k achievement points
> Been playing Hunter exclusively (no alts) for 4 years
> Got serious about min/maxing in Cataclysm
> Was in a top 50 US guild (Firelands until end of Cata)
> 9/9 Gold Challenge modes with almost all realm #1 and #2 ranks (US top 10's)

> 566 ilevel
> Reforged for Crit>Haste>>>>Mastery (ReforgeLite settings: Crit=160, Haste=140, Mastery=120, Hit/Exp=200)
> Capacitive Primal Diamond - Item - World of Warcraft
> Item - Hunter T16 2P Bonus - Spell - World of Warcraft

Now, onto the DPS results!

!!! All tests were done with a CLEAN install of Honorbuddy (v2.5.8461.407 BETA) and with all cache cleared (Honorbuddy, Battle.net and WoW) !!!

The comparisons I perform do not reflect raid buffed DPS.
Here are my current numbers WITH raid buffs (via Simcraft):

Tyrael Raiding Botbase v5.2.7 (SVN rev 273)

TuanHA Hunter Special Edition (SVN rev 67)

PureRotation v2.1.8 (SVN rev 1748)

Bullseye [Beta] v1.1.1 (SVN rev 273)

PQR Soapbox Ultimate Raiding Profiles (v1.7)

Awesome info! Thanks for the time and effort to share. TuanHA just updated his BM dps rotation, think you could do a repeat under same circumstances to check for increase?

I'll be doing a re-test relatively soon since everyone is updating their CR's -- Going to give them all time to do so first!

I'll change the version numbers on my post to red (and update them) when I go about this. I'll also add a reply.

you might wanna do a new test of tuanha he constantly updates the rotation and tweaks to see new results. and did you do the test same specs bm for tuanha bm for pure mm for tuanha mm for pure etc?

Yep, I check for CR updates from multiple sources at least once a day.

Is there any chance you could include "Singular in these results?"

Highly doubt it, I don't really trust it as a raiding CR.

I love the features of Mark II, I love the control of PureRotation and I love the options/gui of TuanHA.

Sadly PQR is beating them all on DPS right now

So-so, don't get your PQR tits worn up, PQR is a great tool for some people. However, a proper coded CR will perform better than PQR.

With Alxaw we were able to tune PureRotation a bit to increase the numbers.
