I didn't think there were that many underground miners. I'm pretty sure most of it is due to phasing (which conveniently exists as an excuse for underground miners).

lol, an easy way to track down underground guys is pressing the v key (displaying health bars). i tried underground mining just for the lulz some time and get caught very fast every time. then i excused with lies about bugged-phase stuff so i revieced no punishment, but i could not recommend underground mining at all (and i dont see a great problem in it, cause its discovered so fast)
