Blue items

I have noticed, forever whatever reason, it seems that my characters miss a lot of blue items. Is there a setting outside of the items area in db that could maybe widen the range of "look for these items"? I spend most of my time farming for mats, and seeing that I am usually short on blues, and then watching db miss picking some of them up, I figure I would make a post in hopes that it might be an easy fix.
