Bloodsail Revered to Exalted on Booty Bay Bruisers

After several days of searching and a lot of confusion, I determined that no one has created this yet.

Since the *reportedly* easiest way to level rep with The Bloodsail Buccaneers - Quest - World of Warcraft , is killing the booty bay bruisers that are lvl 85 I wanted to find a profile that would do this for me. As stated above, I could not find one, so I decided I would try my hand at making my first profile ever.

After reading the guide on the forums (I got so confused) I decided to just mess around with it and here it is (at the bottom of the post..)

How it works:
Start at the tunnel just before booty bay (the sign post is actually the starting point)
load profile in grind mode
sit back and enjoy


Some more info on this profile:

I started this after the phased quest in booty bay and still have not completed the quest. Therefore, the actual town of booty bay is still phased out for me so I can't say anything on how this works for people who are not phased.

If you are phased out, this profile tends to run in to chase down a bruiser that is in the tunnel which will phase out while your trying to attack. Best fix I had for this was to just add a hotspot close to the starting point so if this happens don't worry, the bot will run back to the starting point and come out of phase.

After awhile of running this I noticed the bot liked to run into booty bay to repair (it can't because the repair guys are hostile) so I put Linzi Hewstrike - NPC - World of Warcraft as the repair person. (So don't freak if it takes off to her, she is located towards the middle of the Stranglethorn map.)

The spirit healer is close by so even if you die it will get you right back on track. (The starting point is far enough away from the tunnel that if you prefer to setup some kind of healing it should work fine. I didn't use this as I used my dk-blood spec.)


Hope this helps everyone out and please, if your having problems with it, try to fix it yourself first because I have very limited knowledge of profile making. Any ideas on making it better would be appreciated.

Just a question after reading this. If it tries to repair and runs to her then dies and resurrects close by, won't it just keep repeating that? If it keeps dying, the durability keeps taking a hit and never gets repaired since he dies going to the repair?

The closes spirit healer to anything that would kill you (assuming your 85) is the one right next to the tunnel. If your death is the result of a bruiser the bot will resurrect you far enough away from the aggro range and take you to the repair vendor. If you die from anything else your probably a lower level and I wouldn't recommend using this profile. Otherwise, I honestly can't answer this because I have never had it happen.

Also, the person it is going to is closer to the middle of Stranglethorn Vale, not inside booty bay. (if confusion was on where the repair vendor was located.)
