Blood or Unholy To farm Mining & Herbalist with Gatherbuddy?

Hello.
What spec is the best for farming mining & herbalist with gatherbuddy?
I always make blood dk, because I think it's the best with healing, but I see that there is a lot of unhuly dk too.

So what do you think is the best, does someone make a test?

Frost.

The blood tree changed and became the "tanking" spec. While frost became the "dps" spec.

Running an 85 frost DK with redsteel gear and it works just fine :)
 
im using unholy with dual wield.. The "pet" works like an extra damage so i dont have to do it all, and have more life when combat is finished, cus its finished faster

I'm trying unholy now from lvl80-85.. it seems to be "Ok".
 
i have to rest after every mob when using Unholy, so i changed to Blood, and that's much better, getting 5 mobs, and never gets under 75% hp ;)

lvl 81 Quest geared greens :)
 
I switched to Blood and its running alot better. I'm level 80 in Hyjal(leveling by gathering only)
 
yes please someone post Good macro.........Cuz so far the onse posted already suck ballz. they cant harm a fucking fly. Getting owned by 1 mob. hes at like 95% health and im at like 15% all new cata gear.
 
I've been using frost on my main DK, got him 80-85 in hyjal when it came out but my new DK is only 70 and having a tough time mining cobalt in grizzly/zuldrak so I'm going to try out this blood..
 
I have 2 DK's. Lvling up I dual specced frost and blood. Used frost for the easy area's where knew he would not die. And for pale horse. Used blood spec for harder area's where mobs higher lvl.
When hit 85 respecced blood with over flow of points going in to frost for the pale horse. Have the heals, 1 from blood and 1 from herbing, in the macros.
About only time die is from falling when node close to edge.
Using BS made gear from 60 up.

in my opinion it truly depends on your level. at 85, UNHOLY seems to be the smoothest for me. however if your not maxed out i have found some mobs can be a little tough. my dk is 82 right now and i have him farming uldum and have watched him fight 3 mobs succesfully. he died on a 4 add group tho :(. Anyways i have set up in pre-85 BLOOD spec because the healing trumps all! also i have a very good blood for dk setup in the gb macros section you should look at! the one for pre-85's has a ton of survivability and does good dps! it starts off slow on dps but its a powerhouse when it finishes and heals you for a ton! you should take a look!
 
dang, i have my dk doing cobalt in fjord at lvl 70 as a blood but he still dies a lot :<
 
When I farm I use my Frost Talent tree, however I keep him in Blood Spec to give him more armor/health. Takes longer to kill the mob but increases the survivability by heaps
 
tbh i totally dont get you people, DK smashes a mob in less than 10 seconds on all levels.
I leveled green geared frost spec with GB between 75-85 levels and only times i died were when GB totally bugged out (combat log saying i did not hit enemy once).
 
I run dual wield frost on my 85 DK, and just use the entire frost DK rotation in the #8 spot on a cast sequence, he only dies to Falls/PvP.
