Blocking Battle.net Real ID

Is there any way to block my Battlenet or Real ID? I would rather my rl friends and guildies not be able to see I'm botting on some random alt when I'm doing so.

We used to be able to block the 1119 port, but now blizz changed it so you can not use WoW at all when that port is blocked. any ideas?

Thanks.

Pretty sure there's no way. I'd love to be able to hide from my GF and no-life WoW some nights, but I haven't found a work around myself.

I'll personally keep an eye on this thread in hopes someone does know though.. :D

i do not add people to real id :) ... and i think that if you /ignore them they will not have you in their list anymore. after that just add them normally without real id and be like "hey i got hacked" or something. invent yourself a reason

you can block the port.
however it is annoying, then again say you got 1 main and 7 bot accounts you have to login them in to main window, then disable firewall then sometimes the first second you login they can see you online/offline which if you got a huge group of arena buddy or 13/13m world top mythic players they are not stupid and know straight away you got bots :P best bet to have your main on a separate bnet which is what I done since I been unstuck with what I said earliar thinking real i.d port being blocked would be make me invisible straight off the bat.

I used to do the same thing with blocking the ports, I gave up on that after blocking the real id ip 12.129.206.130 and port. Ended up doing all my botting on a separate bnet account (more than doable depending on how much money you're making for a token,) although this has the downside that you can't farm for BoP mounts or whatever for your main account. From 6.0 it seems people haven't figured it out yet, hopefully they do soon!
