Based on Blizzards anti-cheat policy, and experiences from users like here (https://www.thebuddyforum.com/honor...ports/206384-vanilla-account-permabanned.html), the WoW client is capable of viewing non-WoW processes running on our PCs, such as our process list, data in RAM, and other programs that are running at the same time as WoW.

Is there anyway way to block the WoW client from seeing Honorbuddy?

Also, is this something new (that this information can be collected from Blizzard), it seems like a violation of privacy but I guess we all agree to it when we agree to their terms of service...

this has been already answered MANY times, use search plz

Yes I saw those posts, they all basically say Blizzard just says that to scare you, and for legal reasons does not actually scan your system.

But my question was more about what the developers of honorbuddy can proactively make to make detection much harder if they actually do start scanning (or scan in certain countries where the laws are different)

Just because we assume that right now they are not actually scanning our memory or processes doesn't mean they won't in the future.

Wouldn't it put all our minds at ease if HB was coded to make detection much more difficult?

EDIT - and just to add, from a business perspective, if Blizzard did start actually scanning this way you'd be out of business, so you'd also be future-proofing your business by thinking about this now and implementing ways for the process to be hidden better.
