Block packets

Seen something on MMO champ that people were blocking the packets and disableing cross zones. Thoughts?

Think they were useing Peerblock or some type of blocking software.

YEAH! thats the app. I wonder how they would check to see if people are doing this.

TL;DR... This thread is 9 pages too long.

You can't use Peerblock, because there is nothing in the world to interact with if you do. No NPC's, mailboxes, etc.. (just tried it myself).

So, no....Blizzard won't be banning for this, because no one will be doing it.

Hmmm Did you block everything or only the other zones? I also wonder if you manage to block the other zones correctly, if they can still see you?

You might be able to do this with a firewall and a sniffer.
