Blizzard's scan of your pc?

Hi. I remember that at some point you'd have to delete a file on your computer so that blizzard couldent scan you pc anymore. Is it still possible to do something like that to counter the scan? or is Honorbuddy safe enough to just ignore the scans?

And what does "within their memory space" mean? ^^

Within the RAM that they have been allocated by your computer. Old programs like glider used LUA methods to alter the memory of the game in a traceable way and when wow scanned the memory they started finding those bread crumbs. Honorbuddy works on an over the top method kind of like a phone cover for your game screen. I DO NOT KNOW EXACTLY HOW IT WORKS, but they have to still inject some small amount of information into the game after their framelock mechanism does its work. This is where tripwire comes into play, and with any secret update wow pushes the dev staff will shut down all of the authentication servers and lock people out of using honorbuddy until it is determined to be safe again. When a Tripwire occurs they shut down your game so there are no breadcrumbs to be found.
