that basically means cheaper gold for us from gold sellers if you can buy the pet for say 10$ and sell it for 10k then the gold sellers will have to beat that price by a good margin. gold sellers will probably go out of business. although im always going to be more inclined towards buying gold from third party companies than having to pay for a pet and go through the hassle of selling it when the AH will be flooded with those and there really isnt a big market for pets.... it will be a real hassle to sell them if u ask me.

thats how lazy i am, id rather pay for gold than bot for it overnight....

Buying gold isn't illegal. It's just against the User Agreement/ToS.

However, please keep in mind that there's never any guarantee that someone will purchase what you put up for sale in the auction house, or how much they'll pay for it. Also, it’s important to note that we take a firm stance against buying gold from outside sources because in most cases, the gold these companies offer has been stolen from compromised accounts. (You can read more about our stance here.) While some players might be able to acquire some extra gold by putting the Guardian Cub in the auction house, that’s preferable to players contributing to the gold-selling “black market” and account theft.

nope buying and selling is both against tos , that being said all this uproar about the pet being boe is stupid people have already been seeling the pets / keys since they came out blizz making them boe is to help that problem . imo though anyone who thinks this is legal gold buying is stupid the market will just get flooded and that 10$ you just spent wont be worth anything.

You should prolly reread the US TOS its only against it in the EU TOS
