Blizzard seems to be clever

Instead of spending millions on court-cases, they hire 2 programmers to write 1 update every week. Since the bot seems to be down at least a week every time, it seems that Blizzard has found the right formula...

It's purely coincidence. They want us to bot and pay for accounts. That's why banwaves only happen every few years. So we feel safe most of the time, then a ban hits, we buy new accounts and the cycle continues. I reckon everything will be back to normal in a few weeks or so.

Yup. I agree. Its better for their bottomline to hit us every once and awhile than eliminate botting since they will loose a few hundred thousand accounts

If that was so easy, they would made it a decade ago!
So they instead sponsored their lawyers with millions of $, since there was no better option.
Keep in mind, those "weekly" updates probably require a month or few months of testing, before uploaded to the live servers.

im no IT guy, but from what i've heard you cant just make a small patch every week, you need to test something has not been broken

Thats not exactly true....prior to this spat the last was like 8 months ago. But before that was only like 3 or 4 months

Thats here the "roughly" word take place. There is always variations :P
