I have lately experienced alot of "bugged" herbs, around twilight highlands.
Seems like blizzard is trying to get rid of the botters.
Have anyone else experienced this?


In picture bugged herb in non-landable tree.
Made my bot fly up, and off mount at that spot falling down loosing 15k hp each failure.

Yep. Ive also had herbs/mines disappear right when I went to grab them. As soon as I would fly away, i would pop back up. I thought this was just a game error, but someone else swooped down and grabbed it and it never disappeared.

Yes I know this. Its not the same issue tho. The node was fine if someone else went to take it. Would just act up when my bot went to take it. I watched it happen several times. Its about the same as the known bug, but the node would stay if someone else came. If I flew next to it, it would dissapear, if someone else was coming, it would reappear.
 
That's caused by the phasing. The player getting the node has completed the quests to be in the right phase to get it, you apparently haven't. Be paranoid, but don't get overparanoid ;)

Its called "phasing". When you enter the phased area where the node is it will dissapear if you havent done (or if you did) the quest that made the phasing.

Phasing will play a huge role in World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, and not just in the newly made zones, but a good amount of the revamped zones as well. A few of the known phase changes are that of the starting areas for the newly announced races of goblins and worgen, in much of the same way the death knight starting zone was handled... except with the new terrain phasing feature.
 
nodes shouldnt be phased.. thats stupid.. but yes, your disapearing node problem is phasing.. it's dumb

haha not surprised, I saw a mithril node today xD
If you are talking about the nodes along the western/southern border then they are nodes that are actually in the lowbie zones just over the mountain (or through the cave).
 
i noticed my bot mine a vein that was undeground and not visable.

IF blizz put this up as a "trap"....they would look at it like "hey, he's botting. ban him." or "hey, that guy knows his macros". i could be over thinking it....

that was a couple days ago and im still fine but that made me pretty paranoid.
 
I have also noticed one in Twilight Jasmine node flying. It's not caused by phasing since i've done all the quests in that area. Just blacklist it PROPERLY and it should be fine :cool:
 
I find it hilarious that you guys complain about the phasing and say you should do all quests before grinding. I look at it exactly the opposite of that. With me in the zones initial phase, much less people see me at all, if anything its safer with the phasing than without.

Yes yes I know this. Ive completed all quests in Twilight Highlands. So this isnt the issue.
 
In regards to "flying" nodes, this is a bug confirmed by numerous blue posts.
