I started this thread to try and better understand the various methods of bot/program detection that Blizzard utilizes. With the new expansion coming out, and 3 of my accounts being banned over the course of 6 years, I would like to better understand the process and ultimately put rumors aside and learn the truth. I have seen a few threads on this subject, but not many that are credible. Could a tech or computer savvy person weigh in on this discussion? I am not too concerned about how Bossland evades these tactics, just the manner of detection Blizzard utilizes. Any credible/tangible sources will be greatly appreciated.
