Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. filed an interim injunction to stop sales of DB [Update]

Greetings all,


We just got an interim injunction which forbids us to sell or distribute Demonbuddy.

The text means more or less, that we are not allowed to sell or distribute Demonbuddy. A hearing date in the next week or so will be set up and then the judges decide in which favour they will decide.

Next few days will be really important and I hope you stick with the team, as our offer is serious:


"All of you that stick with us over the next few days / week(s), we will be doubling your sessions once this is over."


What does the injunction say?

The defendants are forbidden:

In the Federal Republic of Germany, acting personally or though any foreign company to offer software and / or distribute or support software which allows customers of teh applicant (EA/Blizzard) to automate moves in the game "Diablo III".

The defendants are warned that for each case of infringement of the above order, a fine of up to 250,000 EUR or imprisonment up to six months.

Update 20th June 2012 12:03 GMT

We lodged an objection against the interim injunction the other day.

Today it arrived in the LG Hamburg and will be forwarded to the appeal chamber.

In the next days we should have a date for the court hearing.

Also, this does not affect Honorbuddy at all. That case has been set to December in Hamburg now.
 
You gotta be kidding be :( so this may be the end.. I thought it would take months! Just bought DB :(
 
Im a totaly new member to DB (with no previous experience with your other versions for other games) but I will be here reading your information about this cause - hope everything goes well. Good luck guys!
 
I've been here since GB1, back on the old forums when you had like 500 or so members, been here since the very beginning when you and hawker came from glider.

I've seen the team grow and grow and make amazing bots, DB has been running great for me recently (.125) when the nav server isn't playing up, combined with a few plugins.

I was about to buy another 6 lifetime sessions, so I'm gutted, as soon as I got to the page I got the message with what's happened.

I wish you the best of luck guys, we as a community need to stay strong too, I really hope it doesn't come down to us not being able to buy anymore sessions
 
So bot will remain disabled for all those who purchased the sessions?
Can you at least enable it for us and stop selling it untill it's over?
 
Ofc you guys will be back in a few days this is to laugh about blizzard have to mutch money and try to destroy a fare company with there money lolz
