Blizzard dont care about botters

Last night I have been botting, using a grinding profile. I bot every day, I hit like 16 hours playtime per day, of which 12 is botted. (still leaving in 8 hours for "sleep " ).

Anyway, carefull inspection of my account would point out what im doing, I mean, I make massive gold, I levelled mining and JC in a day and I have listed enough ores to rebuild Icecrown Citadel, twice. Ive been doing this for a year now, never been caught.

Well anyway, I noticed one of my toons was missing its gold, which is alot. I also noticed a new lvl 1 with a strange name. So naturally I opened a ticket, asking for my gold to be returned.

Well the waiting for the GM is long, so i kinda forgot. I was on my couch watching season 4 of the office, excellent series!
NAyway, before going to bed I checked if hb was still running, it was. But what concerned me was the " A GM would like to talk to you" button. Which i ignored obviously as i was laughing over Michael Scott.

In short: A Shitload of gold has been returned to me by mail, and Ive never heard of the GM again.
The GM contacted me while my toon was grinding. hours in a row. as 87 with cata gear on.

Am i that lucky or dont they care anymore?

Made me laugh =)

I don't think they care when people bot on their main account but they are against pure bot accounts. I've botted and sold on my main account which I play on regularly and I have never been banned or even spoken to. I've traded 200 k gold in one trade, bought 20 months RaF time (Together with annual pass) and gather botted Uldum for 1 week 24/7 while I were away and the worst that has happened is that they removed the annual pass which I wanted to be removed anyway.

It was a "we're watching you" thing.

I think their easier on you if you have 1 account and use it only for yourself indeed. All i ever did was buy all the mounts and pets :D

And flood AH with epic BS crafts back in cata :D

Well you dont actually think the GM teleports to your toon, watching him, while working on these tickets, right? They prop. answer to two or three simultaneously and really do not care if you dont answer their whisper.
However I would suggest you change your password and stuff! Missing gold and new toons with funny names sounds much more like a compromised account than "blizzard is watching you" ;-)

I believe that the only botting they care about is the kind used to make real money, so if they never see you doing that or evidence you might be doing that they probably don't care. Just my 2 cents.
