Hello, im sorry if this has already been asked. If so please direct me.

How is Blizzard knowing who bots or not? Is there any specific patterns they look for? Example bottin 24/7 instead of 4-8h per day?
Or they simply read what programs that is running on your pc?

I would say that if you bot as many hours as you would normally play, you have a far less chance of getting banned that botting 24/7 (hypothetically speaking of course).
Just a guess here, but if you bot 24/7 you are more likely to get caught because a human being cant do that. We all need to take a break, eat, sleep, shit, shower, shave, work, etc...

If I worked for Blizz, and had to find as many botters as I could, I would look for accounts that are running 24/7. Those would be the easiest ones to find first, and there would probably never be an end to them. I could probably work until I retired finding bots like this.

If I had to detect the software, that would be a lot more work (maybe not even possible).

it is never safe to bot.
you are always at risk of getting banned.
you will eventually get banned. (well, some of us will, hopefully not you or me)

I guess they use Tarot cards to come up with account names and then cross reference that with whatever their Haitian-Vodou-priests-on-payroll said. And, believe me, that is as good guess as any.

Been botting 24/7 since January. Got over 3,000 hours on chars. Using 6 VMware's. So far so good, no warnings or bans. What will get you banned is trading/selling. Trade 100M+ to someone without them giving you anything and watch your self get flagged. Been botting WoW since 2005, never been banned. Lucky? Doubt it. I just know my stuff when it comes to botting weather I do it as a human being or 24/7. Reports are 90% of Blizzard's bans. Spamming trade with your unid items = flag. Bot, keep quiet, don't make any friends and you will be safe guaranteed.
