So i sent them an email again about a ban i got a few months ago on one of my accounts and i was astonished of what they replied, never in any of their emails they never told such a thing to me, they were just like, you got banned for using third party programs bla bla bla but now they actually explained and admited that they monitor my RAM and they saw me using while playing their client the same program attached to it over and over :O. I actually loled when i saw that :)).

"When running, the World of Warcraft client may monitor your computer's random access memory (ram) and/or cpu processes for unauthorized third party programs running concurrently with World of Warcraft. An unauthorized third party program as used herein shall be defined as any third party software, including without limitation any addon or mod, that in Blizzard Entertainment's sole determination:

I. enables or facilitates cheating of any type;"

ETC etc ^^

There are at least 20 other Threads where Blizzard wrote exactly what you just posted.

So no, nothing new here and they admitted nothing, they still dont scan outside of their own RAM part.

How can somebody admit something if he/she/it already said it many times before, that doesnt make sense at all...

I'm happy you loled. But here, so you can lol more:

Ok, so, I'm honestly getting a bit tired of replying to threads like these. (Please, go search for other warden related posts by me, MaiN, Nesox, Hawker, or any other developer here...)

Warden will not reach out of it's own process any more. (Scan.dll does this in WoW to catch stuff like CheatEngine, etc. Nothing too fancy, nor worth worrying about) They can't read our window titles, as we're not "in" the game process. (See: warden doesn't leave the game proc)

Warden does do module hash scans. Yes. But only for modules loaded in the game. We don't load any in the game, so those scans are completely pointless to us.

They say they "can" they didn't say they "do"... it's a scare tactic I'm pretty sure otherwise they would be reading our memory all the time.

If they can so easliy read Ram why they didnt bann all botters within a week ?
