I've noticed a drop in herbalism add' lately and a quite a few unusable nodes.

I have noticed those unusable/bugged nodes too, but i believe that there are less herbs farmed because of competition. If you/we look at theunderminejournal the price of each herbs has dropped while supply/quantity of herbs on the AH remains the same or larger.
