I beleave blizzard can detect bots very fast if they wanted to. Only reason we can bot is because they let us.

It is interesting i am monitoring item prices for a long time. And they are dropping all the time. Blizz interfeared few times, by adding new items, by increasing crit change that can roll on ring/bracers, chd on amulet etx. They are constantly changing something to keep RMAH alive.

But at a certain point they couldnt keep with us anymore. Ratio between number of buyers and sellers hit the limit Blizz could bare. Prices went down too much. Gold price hit the bottom. Economy was falling apart, as botters were pilling huge amounts of gold and gear, and destroying the prices in the process.

Normal players dont stand a chance to find anything usefull in their few hours played per day, try to compare that to 24/7 botting on 10+ bots.

And to keep the game from falling apart, blizz had to do this Banwave. Now alot of gear is removed from the game, and gold. Prices will normalize, till we start botting again. And when we again become too greedy story will repeat xD

Blizz banned us to make more money, the greedy fucks, think about it, 1000 people (probably ALOT more) = 50k dollars for them (if they only buy 1 acc a piece.)

lol blizz do not get 50 bucks / game... they are banning us because they HAVE TO do it every 2-6 month so the legit players cannot complain to much, they make 100times more from us with the RMAH...

If anything they ruined the economy even more. Since the big banwave, the gold has stayed at rock bottom .25?/1M all the time, and it is significantly harder to sell items for gold yet alone. For me it seems that botters bought from botters... a lot.

Banwave has nothing to do with gold drop... Gold actually went up following banwave like always because the demand remains but the supply shrinks.. Simple economics...

The announcement that PVP has been scrapped for the moment is what tanked the gold prices, economy...

As for the bans Blizz has made it very clear they flag accounts than take a lawnmower to everyone on the list at the same time at a later date (See the D3 CM posts about how to take down a drug dealer)... They do take a banhammer in the interim, between banwaves, to those whose accounts have multiple reoccurring TOS violations, i.e. severe offenders in their minds..
