Sorry, this might be a stupid question. But how does blizzard store work?
Do you have to create a "blank"/new battle.net when you order or do you get the cdkeys mailed? Also, is it possible to pay with paypal (credit from paypal), or do you have to pay with a creditcard?
Blizzardo is losing moneys they make evrything cheap also the games it self![]()
Isn't it kinda risky to buy a key from the Blizzard store, as in Blizzard being able to track the payment details back to you/your main account?
they can track your ip aswell, not many bans from that I think.
But with payment details, could be a gift to someone, would be weird if they just banned everyone because a botter used a key bought with payment details![]()
DIp's change all the time most people have one which changes every now and then and they aren't legally able to track it.
There's not a kind of cia at blizzard who have a team assigned just to catch you....
They coulden't care less about 1 person when they have thousands botting.
Tracking by ip and such is pure bullshit over a certain degree ofcourse having 1million accounts on 1 ip address would be noticeable but if it are 1 or 2 or 10 or 50 they don't care.
Player reports and the automated system is all they use.
People there who work there only reject appeals and such but they don't ban based on ip or previous ban reports only after you get banned that's a concern.
It's illigal for them to actually track private information which includes your ip address and they will not do that why? becouse it's illigal and those employee's working at blizzard won't do something like that.
It's private information which they may only use for billing and stuff like that.
I remember someone saying it's recommended to use gamecards on your bot accounts that you get from websites other than the Blizzstore, since if you use the 30 day one from the blizzstore they can track your payment details back to your main account.D
epends on your ISP I think, I've had the same IP for a year atleast.
What I mean with the ip thing is they have that data aswell, but they don't ban accounts that share IP with bots, why would they ban accounts that have used the same payment details as bots?

Hence why I was wondering about this, I guess there's still some risk in it anyway..
And yes I've heard that SOR accounts are being banned a lot lately, the one I bought is still alive and kicking however, but I haven't been using it for a few months so that's probably why![]()

pay with paypal, not in the store, login your account and digital upgrade from there, in my experience, if you dont want the item ( xpac upgrade, transfer ect) or get ban dispute it i've gotten money back for quite a few transfers for comparators that where ban (none where denied)
