i havent had an issue with it. it seems actually fairly decent for weak mobs.
just make sure you set it as the melee skill. it'll run up to the mob and start casting, once its dead it'll move and often time kill mobs before it even casts again.
however it does sometimes have to start and charge up when it slows down on killing another mob
