is there a way that you can blacklist a list of waypoints or a zone for egsample a mountain that it has to fly over so it will fly around it?
Or a zone so it will run around it sort of thing?

This is posted in the Honorbuddy forum, but with the reference to 'flying', it seems like a Gatherbuddy question.

There is no way to blacklist an entire zone with a single element in a profile. You would need to blacklist the whole zone with individual <Blackspot>s. Blackspotting just the entrance to a zone would be insufficient, because the distance to 'go around' would probably far outway the traversal penalty for violating a couple of blackspots at zone entrances.

If you'd be more specific as to why you would want such a thing, perhaps we can work out a workaround.

Oh i am working on a sort of fix to try and help with the problems people are having with the Archealogy plug in.
ALot of users including myself half to fly it over these mountains by hand as it gets stuck there and bugs out. so i was going to blacklist the high points so it flew through the lower points or around it alltoghether.
is this possible?

This is a very interesting question. But I'm going to say "not currently possible", without the credentials to say such. :D

The problem is blackspots are currently planar concepts--they work on 'tiles'. What you are describing is a 'volumetric concept', and the <Blackspot> element has no provision for including the height necessary to define the volume. (The Z coordinate we currently supply defines the point on the ground). Currently, as soon as your toon's navigational path leaves the ground, the blackspot is no longer in effect.

In the long run, something like a volumetric blackspot may be available. But it would take someone like MaiN to answer this question properly.

Thank you soo much for your quick answers and outstanding knowledge.
Im assuming that this would just make a mess of everything but To make such co ordinates Volumetric blackspots Could i
For egsample you have a X,Y,Z blackspot to X1,Y1,Z black spot (Where z is the height for egsample) - Could i blackspot the base of the mountain - Then Blackspot the Top of the mountain and then Input all the Z co ordinates for the entire height of that mountain or would it just be crazy to think about?

On and update tho it seems my problem has been fixed by Deleting my meshes folder i have made a suggestion for all to do it so we will see how everyone else goes.
Many thanks again for your awesome help
Scotty.
