Bgs?

it has its moments. certain bgs run better than others. there are several places where it gets stuck and its very obvious to those familiar with botting that you are a botter. a new version/rewrite was said to be in the works, but that thread seems to have died off. No updates on the rewrite in several weeks. :(
 
Awh :( well that blows, my one I use to use was pretty damn good. But its closing. Not sure what to use now.
 
yeah i used pirox as well. HB is better about pathing for the most part its just a few spots where it gets hung up. if you sit by it and watch you are ok for the most part. the worst is warsong gulch...it face humps the gy wall.
 
I am currently running a shaman and would like any advice on how to set up everything to do BG's...any advice?
 
Lol Ugh great! I'm trying to farm WSG for my Conquer title. I need about 10k more REP. But my pirox key is out and I can't renew it.. :( And WSG rep blows to earn lol. 35 rep per cap of your side only. THATS IT. I need a good one for that.

you can run it...just sit at your pc and watch a movie or something. happens every couple of deaths. unfortunate, i know.

Head on over to the Class forum, find a pvp CC you like, then just select 'BG Bot (Beta)' from the dropdown and click start. It will then ask you which CC you want to use (if you installed additional ones).

The easiest way would be to just load up HB, select BG Bot from the dropdown and click start. This should use the default 'singular' profile. YMMV though with how well it performs. Your best bet would be to find a Shaman CC.

EDIT: Doesn't look like there's many options for Shaman (Shaman) but pop in on the shamwow thread and ask any questions you have over there.
 
Is the set up on this like Pirox? Set up the skills you want your guy to use and all that stuff?

nope...no need to setup keybinds. it uses injection to do it all. once you start hb you are using within minutes. no setup at all. only thing you might consider doing is downloading a CC (custom class) for you particular class.

It comes with a bunch of singular profiles for each spec afaik. But for instance, on my DK i use the ezfrost CC (in the DK class forum). I just download it, place it in the CustomClass folder, start HB, select BG Bot, click start, select the EZ Frost option from the popup and it 'just works'.

On the flip side, there is no CC for my Affliction lock. With it, I just start HB, select BG Bot, click start and it takes it from there.
 
there are a couple of settings you might want to set which is under 'settings & tools' and 'bot config' all of which are self explanatory. very easy to use.
 
Can you choose like specific things? AKA 1 BG? And have you tried out any other bots other than pirox? if so what was your experience with them? I wana make sure I pick the right one since im paying for it.
 
this is the only other one i've tried seeing as how it is the most popular. you can choose which bg you want to do or tell it to do randoms. it also has the option (for many cc's), using lazyraider, to actually allow you to control your toon and target what you want and it casts the spells for you to maximize the dmg. i find myself using this quite a bit in 2v2 and have an 18-4 record doing so.

there are some things it doesn't have that pirox had, built-in. however, most of this is available via plugins. the only negative thing i have to say is the random crashes i've gotten the past couple of days. prior to that, things were GREAT. and in this one, i like the gathering profiles much better too.
 
Do you think you could run random Bgs for say 8-10 hours a day? and be fine like I use to with Pirox. No babysitting.
 
you could...all of it is risky. totally up to you. i have, no trouble yet, other than the occasional crash.
 
How long do you usually do it for? Once I hit exalted with Warsong , all I want to que is Alterac then, since it gives the most Honorable kills and theres 40 poeple.
 
i bot about 18-20 hours then do an 8 hour or so break. during the day i usually do bgs and overnight i use gatherbuddy to get some herbs/ore. the one nice thing i like about it, is that i don't have to fly to a waypoint like with pirox...it's smart enough to figure it out.
 
I'm trying to figure out how to fix the WSG. On Pirox it was easy just edit waypoint buts this just picks its own waypoints and goes. I hate the fact that every once in a while it just humps the wall in GY. Any ideas how I can blacklist that waypoint or something just to stop it from trying to go up the GY wall. Thanks
 
It must be going pretty god, seeing as 1/4th of the players are botting nowdays..
