BGBuddy - Shut it Down

Hey fellow botters and so on. Im currently exploring how botting works in MoP and i wanted to try to bot in PvP...Keep in mind im not trying to offend or rage but the situation is really dire bad. I see all bots running like morons, staring at players and enemy NPC's in AV (Galv, Drek example) and its not like its 3-6 ppl , no its basicly more than half every BG that has these obvious broken bot patterns.

For everyones safety and even in consideration for normal players it should be brought down til its properly fixed, it is shamefully gamebreaking in terms of PVP. I am no technical pro or coding or such but this is really bad.. and i hope some sort of action is taken soon, or some "unskilled" Botters will feel the wrath and come whining with their useless threads and etc etc... you catch my drift...

Please at least take a look at the situation..and consider it!

I have seen that too as well. Though I tend to do my bgs manually, however that is just me. I love to kill the other botters LOL. But yes, the BG side is things does seem to be a little broken. And for everybodys saftey, I do think that it should be brought down until further notice.
 
Oh put a sock in it. Bot at your own risk. 'nuff said.

we're not going to shut it down, as people are using it just fine. now we have ALREADY been working to revamp battleground logic so it knows what to do in a pure bot vs bot battlegrounds (as it only tends to be now) as well as adding more randomization so bots arent running on top of eachother. now, this is going to take some time, so far we already have AB and TP done, and they are working to test and get the next one on the list done, but its not going to happen overnight.

Whenever i've botted BG's i always do it primetime, and i'll tell you why

BG buddy your notice works on random Coordinates right ? then ofcourse "goes to the largest pack of friendly" etc

If the majority of the BG are bots (Late night Botters) your all just going to be following eachother and itll spaz out since the largest pack etc will literally be all bots



Ive been botting BG's primetime for a VERY long time, on numerous accounts, never been banned

exactly why its being revamped to play the objective instead of stay with the pack.

Its very good to work on BGBuddys playstyle. I dont have used BGBuddy since Cataclysms End. Its just like 60-70% Bots in Bgs an the community rage. The german Pvp forum Top 10 Threads got 6 alone for rageing about bots in bgs. Most of them are flames and insults against blizzard whos doing nothing against it.

Most of players got so much pissed the try to find every bot before the BG Starts.


Even for tactical playing aka non-zerging you got reports..

People rage hard about botting in bgs.

well now theres a chance the flag carrier could be a bot now, instead of trusting that theres humans to do the objectives
 
Will you guys be releasing the new behaviors for the battlegrounds as they come out?

Might be better for the community if they are released individually instead of waiting for all of the BGs to be done. Plus, it would allow for community feedback on each BG as its released instead of having to touch up several at a time :)

we're doing one by one, you can find the latest in the beta builds of hb for testing.
