Anyone been banned recently for using BGBuddy?

Is BGBuddy still pretty much insta ban?

Yes I know the risks.

Yes I'm a lurker, whose been here for years.

BGbuddy bot works the same as all the other bot bases- So the application of using the bot isn't what will get you banned..

What will is player report and large presence of GMs montoring reports and players using the BGs.. including tools that automacicly flag players that are reported and have been connected over 12hours in BGs.
this is what will get you banned very quickley
 
Cool thanks for the info. I assume there is really no safe time to bot bgs without accumulating alot of reports :(
 
Why don't you just do 3 minutes of research in the bans report sub-forum?

Lurked for years, and you are the exact reason why. Then I have my answer? What is my answer? I saw no valid information about my question in the ban section so I figured ask here. Thanks anyways for your kind answers and much needed help.

The answer is that you will be banned. Nobody can tell you when. Since botting in close proximity to other players, including BG botting has a very high chance of player reports, it will probably be sooner than later. That is the answer and has been for the thousands of exact same topics people have opened on the subject, all of which you curiously missed while lurking for years.

So you go to the ban section, you read ban reports, and you don't see many reports for people being banned for using bgbuddy...And yet you still need to come and ask if it has a high ban rate? That makes no sense at all. Why do you trust people to answer any different than what an actual forum dedicated to reporting bans would answer?

You already said you know the risks...And the research you did was extremely poor. The risk is extremely high, in fact, it's probably the highest risk form of botting currently.

I'm glad you edited your post though from it's previous form. I still have your original response saved on my phone. It would be a shame for you to have to become a permanent lurker because you don't like the answers you receive, even if they're the correct answer.

I'm sure replying with this alone would have prevented the argument in this thread, the rest of your rant presents itself as non-constructive criticism. If these questions annoy you, then allow other helpful members of this community answer the question. (like they did) If you are trying to teach fellow members to help themselves, then a change in tactics is advisable.

Regarding the question at hand, it's not safe to use bots in BG's. Members of the guild my main account is in post the names of people they a reporting as botters. I see at least a dozen BG report messages in guild chat every day. It's very easy to spot a bot in BG's and there is zero tolerance for it. For that fact alone, you shouldn't bot in BG's on an account you want to keep.

You must not have read any of the rest of this thread and jumped straight to my post...

The OP said they did research and didn't find many reports. I don't even see how that's possible if the OP did actually do some research.

I already did tell them to just go research it themselves (if you actually read the thread, you'd see that) and when they came back with a smartass, name-calling response I gave them a response in a clear, concise manner.

If you don't like the way I post, feel free to just skip on over the responses. My feelings won't be hurt in the least bit.
