BGbuddy fails to equip PVP gear even in BG's where the gear has a higher iLevel

I equip my pvp gear and start BGbuddy and it automatically equips my pve gear. I enter BG then start BGbuddy and it fails to equip my pvp gear so I enter BG's manually, equip my pvpv gear then start the bot and it equips my pve gear even though its a lower ilevel?????
