BG buddy getting deserter and not chasing target

Basically, I've noticed while botting in Alterac Valley, my bot will ride to Belinda and won't leave even after we kill her. It just sits there until it goes afk.

Also, when attacking people, my bot will run up to the target and attack. But when the target starts to run, he just stands still and keeps trying to melee attack, but doesn't chase.

I'm a windwalker monk so maybe that has something to do with it? Are the default combat profiles for monk bad or what? And does the AV profile work correctly?

As for my monk not following the target, i notice in the log that it says: [Singular] Casting Legacy of the Emperor on Warlock or [Singular] Casting Energizing Brew on Warrior. Both of those spells are self buffs, so why would they try and use them as offensive spells..?
