BG Botting Tips?

At the moment, I have a Level 70 Mage and Im BG Botting (Always Random) but my mage does terrible in the BG's, Im using Amplify (Mage CC). Any tips/ideas on how to improve how he does? All suggestions appreciated. Thanks.
