BG Bot Beta sits at flags too long.....

I don't really know where to put this topic. I play a DK and just use this program to farm honor. So here goes.

When using BG bot beta I notice it will stay at flags too long.

Say Im on the road and it decides to go to stables. It will path to stables and once I get there it will just sit for what seems like forever sometimes. Or at least until I'm killed.

Currently is only happening when horde owns the node I'm at or its contested in hordes favor.

One more thing, the honorbuddy says 'Activity: Moving to Stables' or farm or whichever one I'm sitting at. Is there any way to get the bot back moving after 30 seconds - 1 min?

EDIT: I looked at the wiki extensively with no help or guidance towards anything PvP. I am very disappointed with PvP support. While I understand that most people use this bot to farm gold or level you need to realize that there is a portion, however big, that bought and uses this for PvP. I am sure that if I were to use a simple grinding profile to do PvP I could get it to work...badly. Beginners need stuff explained or at least a guide to pvp profiles.

I can write my profiles for grinding mobs because I researched, but am still stuck on pvp because of the lack of information.

What makes PvP bot and BG bot tick? Where is the info on them.
What makes my character run to the gate?
What makes my character sit for what seems like forever at flags?
What is a good starter Profile for PvP. I opened the ones the bot came with to read to see if I could reverse engineer them but its just not happening.

for example;

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
- <PvpProfile>
- <!-- These hotspots are required. Change anything BUT the names.
-->
<Hotspot x="801.129" y="872.5645" z="-55.7189" tlx="853" tly="945" brx="783" bry="825" name="Farm" />
<Hotspot x="976.1278" y="1036.748" z="-43.67422" tlx="1086" tly="1068" brx="911" bry="1015" name="Blacksmith" default="True" />
<Hotspot x="841" y="1154" z="11" tlx="883" tly="1271" brx="733" bry="1106" name="LumberMill" />
<Hotspot x="1154" y="856" z="-111" tlx="1192" tly="892" brx="1087" bry="783" name="GoldMine" />
<Hotspot x="1171" y="1205" z="-54" tlx="1232" tly="1276" brx="1133" bry="1155" name="Stables" />
- <!-- Extras
-->
</PvpProfile>

What am I going to do with this? Its just a few hotspots.

Can I assign each hotspot with a different timer with something like <MaximumHotspotTime>? If so then how, if not then why.
How do I determine my routs.
What does Best: Stables, <1171, 1205, -54>, IsHorde: False, LastPlayerCount: 2, IsDefault: False mean? How do change that because it says Ishorde: False but it is actually hordes.

I'm sure this is all very common knowledge to the Guru's of the board. I am not one however, and I could use some help and guidance.

Still no support. Awesome.

More problems though incase in the years to come some moderator or dev decides to be helpful.

When running PvP mode I get this sometimes.

[3:20:55 AM:515] Not in game or Me == null

[3:25:17 AM:656] Start/Stop button pressed.
[3:25:18 AM:31] Stopping the bot!

Sometimes it tries to leave a BG when it already has. Then i get Not in game or Me == null, then the bot stops working and I will just eventually log out do to inactivity.

I probably sound a bit upset, it is because I am. I work partime weekays and fulltime weekends. I go to college full time. I payed 25 bucks to have this do what it is advertised to. Not some halfassed halfsupported product. I do not have time to grind honor, I just want to arena with my friends when we have time to. Right now I spend more time trying to get the bot back on track then it does actually botting.

Day 1: Setup for about 4 hours (reading wiki and forums). Botting while I observed to make sure it was ligit. Was having some errors but tested to see if it would farm while i sleep. NOPE 1 hour after I turn the monitor off to go to sleep the bot did the bug where it thinks it hasn't left the BG and stops. I get dced.

Day 2: Woke up turned bot back on for about an hour or two while I go to school and buy books for new semester. Got home to see bot was on and running. I rushed over to see if it actually collected honor and nope, i got the wow bug that locks you in BG queue for hours. (not HB fault, dont think i'm blaming you) Posted problems on forums.

Day 3: Went to friends house to chill for about 10 hours. Came home to bot not working again. It collected me a grand total of 300 honor.

Maybe you can see why I am frustrated.

Yes, I paid for what is your product and you can do whatever you see fit. There were no terms of agreement saying you had to fix it immediateally. But think of it this way, there are no terms like that for the game we bot. What if you logged on wow and couldn't even play it because it was so buggy. You would probably get on wow.com and demand that your money is refunded and probably threaten you will cancell your account or whatever.

I am not demanding compensation or anything all I want is some assistance. I have posted logs. I have tested different CCs. I have tried both BG bot and PvP bot. I have said in detail the problems I am having. The only response was from a mod that said not to post the same topic multiple places.

Really? Thats all I get. Maybe if I had some support I wouldn't post it in different places. They were all legit places to post them.

1. Plugin section. Described problems to see if a plugin could bypass them.
2. HB section. Obviously, since its HB.
3. DK section. I play a DK, the bugs could have been DK CC related.

So I get modded trying to be helpful....really?? I AM BASICALLY PAYING YOU TO BETA TEST YOUR PRODUCTS.

So here I am, paying you to test your products that are under false advertisement offering bugs and problems seeking solutions with nothing but rudeness in return. Treat us like customers and not kids you beat up for your lunch money. Appreciate us.

Now its not all bad. When the bot works, it works wonderfully (usually meaning me sitting infront of it and babystitting). I have 3 DK ccs that work really well. BG Bot [Beta] is absalutely stunning when it doesnt get stuck at hotspots. Normal PvP mode, while generic, does the job great.

Why can't we work together to make this a complete product. If I toss you information I shouldn't be shunned or talked down upon, I should be thanked and we can work on the problems.

Google : Beta

that is all.

BETA TEST:A test for a computer product prior to commercial release. Beta testing is the last stage of testing, and normally can involve sending the product to beta test sites outside the company for real-world exposure or offering the product for a free trial download over the Internet. Beta testing is often preceded by a round of testing called alpha testing.

Time to break to down for you.

Every time I turn this on and it doesn't work properly I am testing it and sending information to the site. Well fuck me sideways and a big herp derp, thats what you do in beta testing.

While beta testing does describe its testing done before commercial use it is still what I am doing here. The only sad thing was it was actually commercially released. If you buy a program from somebody it should work. And if it doesn't you should be concerned and appreciative of any help.

if you want to report bugs, the forum is not the place to be, it has been said multiple times before. use the BUGTRACKER.

Lack of information on a feature the bot supports isn't a bug =\

He is correct, when they released BGBot there was 0 support or information related too it. For example, how do you change the default point? Why would I want the flag to be the default spot for the bot to run at the start of EoTS?

Yes yes, beta.. sure. How can we beta test something that we have no information on how to change or tweek?

But, best way to get honor exp for the next 12 hours or so (bonus weekend) would be to play mixed mode and set it to AV only. If you sit there and watch it you will get frustrated because it doesn't play like you do, never will really. But it does enough to keep you from getting banned and usually gets you on the top 10 as far as damage/healing. I am sure you have read the success of AV weekends on the forum so give it a try and see how it works for you.

I understand that it isn't supposed to play like me. I've had bots before this. I have used glider and Pirox back in the day (pirox was free and bad back then). I understand how bots work.

The stuff I am reporting is not (well, should not) be normal behavior. Like I said, when I don't get these issues the bots work wonderfully.

Well Geewiz its hard for me to know exactly how to report a bug when nobody tells me. Thats a support problem. If I buy a product and download it, you should be giving me the information. I should not spend hours trying to fix then post reports on the forums to be told 'its been told several times you have to do it this way!' Well guess what, this guy wasnt. There was no FaQs file in my program. There were no FaQs files for this online. So please excuse me for not reading the minds of the online community.

The bgbot[beta] isnt the "official" bot of "honorbuddy" the PvP bot is and its marketed like that. you do not have to use the BETA bot, There is no documentation because the devs are changing and modifying stuff constantly thus rendering the documentation incorrect leading to more winging and QQ

BG Bot Beta...

Just because it's been mentioned in this thread, I'll ask something that I'm curious about - what exactly does the BG Bot Beta do that previous PVP mode didn't? I had a quick search and didn't find anything immediately obvious, so I'm just wondering under which circumstances I should be using it?

It can actually generate some honor by being where the action is.

Does not work 100% yet but it's getting closer...
