BG advice

Since it's AV weekend and I've got a 63 mage that needs some leveling, I'm thinking of giving BG's a spin for the first time... I've been a bit reluctant to do so in the past because it seems so risky to me. Do yall have any advice for a BG newcomer? Should I even bother with it lol? Thanks in advance.

i think bg botting is less risky than level botting, but thats just me.

only tried mixed mode a few times.

In my opinion the bot acts really dumb, no human would play that way.
And dumb bots in pvp ruins the game so I don't like it.
Stopped the bot always after a few minutes bg perhaps I did sth wrong...
