This has been the trend for a while but it's a little frustrating that plugin/profile developers always begin any troubleshooting with "Install latest beta version" and the beta version, like every beta has a warning attached to it about not being for general use. Which is it? It has gotten to the point that if you want to use any plugin, including the ones that come installed with DB, Adventurer/Trinity, you need to use the beta if you want any useful help for a developer. Is that not a little strange to any one else?

I have always used the BETA unless there is a BETA specific problem (which there rarely ever is!).

It's not like they are alpha copies, they have been reviewed and tested before public posting. BETA implies that they are not tested to the level of the stable releases and may contain features with unforeseen complications..

The warning is there just to let you know, in case something got through, that it may not be a problem with the stable release.

My experience has always been better on the BETA tho.
