Best way to safe-guard your bots

Hi everyone,

I've been using honorbuddy since 3 months after it came out and have had a LOT of WoW accounts (40+).

When i first started gold farming I used to lose a WoW account every month or so, but as i'm sure many of you are aware - recently the number of bans has dramatically increased!

I now lose on average three accounts a week - i try to contest them and 3/4 times I am unable to retrieve the account.

I've had a look around the forums but there seem to be lots of different strategies for safe-guarding your accounts.


Should i use a proxy service? If so which one works well for large numbers of connections?

Should I sell gold on vanilla accounts? Does this help reduce the chance of a ban on the farmer account?



Any advice would be most welcome! (Plus any other helpful hints you have for me and the HB community as a whole!)

If you sell gold to Chinese buyers ALWAYS use a vanilla account.
Even sites like offgamers or pusada are likely to get you banned.
Selling to private buyers is relatively risk free as long as you dont mail the gold.

How many accounts do you run atm?

Have you ever had a farmer account banned even though you've sold on a vanilla?

yes they do ban farmer account too. but using your brain and you'll figure out some way reclaim the account
