best way to level up herb & mining

Hello Guys,

whats the best way to level up Herb & Mining from 1-700+?
which method do you prefer and which tips can you give me?
im a bit confused which bOT/profile i should use for max my
professions.

Using HB2 you can still use professionbuddy and i used the normal profile 1-600 in pan. Still working good.

HB3 is alittle bugged, at some nodes the char will fly in a spiral upwards sometimes correcting itself but other times stays there definitely.

I started herbing and mining in valshara at 100ish.
You can just go there right away with Level 1 I believe.
I'm currently 200ish in both and making lots of gold at the same time.

learn herb / minning , then go to WoD . then mine and herb 1 thing . 100% drop WoD mine herb scrolls give you 1-700 skill range . this is nice so you do not need to do Legion profession quest to get 1-800 right away. next do questing 100-110 profile. you will get a lot of minning and herbing quest out of the way .it is nice to start farming at 108-109 . it is easier to kill 3 or 4 mobs at a time if you leveled and have a little gear. from 108 to 110 i farmed for 2 days to level.

You dont need to level professions anymore. Go to the profession trainer in dalaran and you get 1-800 and the questchain for abilties.
From there you can start herbing/mining in Legion with Skill 1.
