Best way to get Gear at 90

Yeah so looong time since i have last played myself or used a bot. My bots hit 90 very soon and before i throw them to grind dungeons all day long i want to at least give them some gear to get better gph.
What is the best way or where to get gear for all of them? I thought abt bgbuddy but i have read that today bots get reported asap and it is very unsafe so dunno. Any ideas?
 
It's fairly easy to get gear these days, the best way would be to go straight to Timeless Isle, your item level should be a bit too low so you wont be able to bot / farm very efficiently but if you do all the intro quests and just walk around and tap some rare mobs you should get loads of Timeless Isle armour pieces quite fast and suddenly you have all 496 gear besides your weapon and one trinket. It doesn't take very long for you to get a Burden of Eternity by doing the quests and that's a 535 armour piece, and you also have the opportunity to attack a albatross and fly towards the chest which gives you another Burden of Eternity so that's a second 535 right there.

If you are lucky you might get one from the rare mobs if you decide to stay and farm for a bit. Then your gear is more than good enough to start running some LFRs, from Siege of Orgrimmar you might get some item level 516+ gear and you also have the new Iron Invasion questline in Blasted lands which gives you decent bracers, neck and one trinket.


Doing the Iron Invasion, farming Timeless Isle and using DungeonBuddy for Siege of Orgrimmar should give you item level of 505+ so you can do the new UBRS which gives you 4x 550 pieces.. Then you are pretty much good to go for the expansion, if you manage to get yourselves 10k gold you could also pay for a Siege of Orgrimmar Heroic boost so you get the weapon heirloom from Garrosh.
 
Well the easiest way is go to the vendor at Townlong Steppes / Nauzio temple you can gear yourself up to 522ilvl from a 3-4-5k gold (I don't know exactly) one item is around 300g/piece

You can also farm frogs to upgrade all your pieces very quick.

This isn't fully true right now. You still need rep to buy the 522 gear, and you can't get up to honored without doing Throne of Thunder. You'll need at least a 476 ilvl to get into ToT, so you still have to do a little gearing through timeless isle gear or some pvp first.
 
I used BGFarmer by Millz (buddystore) and ARelog to get Prideful gear for all my toons. it only took 2-3 days per toon.
 
Regarding the Shado-Pan Assault items: The neck item, ilvl 522, can be obtained at Neutral rep for gold now. Everything else requires Friendly or higher rep to obtain.

Regarding SoO LFR: The items you obtain from SoO LFR are ilvl 528. This requires a minimum ilvl of 496 to enter, though.

Regarding UBRS: You need a 510 (I think) ilvl to get into UBRS, but it does drop ilvl 550 gear.

Regarding Timeless Isle: You can get a couple of pieces through the quest lines offered, through farming the chests on the island, through playing the "shell game" with the chests in the cave that you pay coins to open, or through farming all the mobs on the island. The tokens give you ilvl 496 gear, but if you happen to get lucky and get a Burden of Eternity, you can use that then your token to get a 535 ilvl piece. The burdens do NOT work on trinkets. If you want the 535 trinket then you have to farm 50k Timeless Coins and purchase it from the Timeless Island.

Regarding Headless Horseman Instance*: You can farm the Headless Horseman until November 1st to get an ilvl 540 ring, or rings, depending on your class. Some caster may be able to wear the DPS and Healer ring. I'm not sure of this as I haven't tested it.

* = Headless Horseman is only available until November 1st, and then will be gone until next year.

you can get into a frog farm group. last farm group i was in, i stayed an hour. earned 20k coins, over 10 pieces of random gear [not needing on gear, you should if you need it] and 1600 lesser charms.

we planted in the south corner on my boomkin. ran singular with Enyo. my toon would attack anything in range, face the target and a couple times ran down an ally and busted face.
overall it was a good experience and on my server, there are always frog groups happening.

Exactly, and if you look in the new pre-made section, you will see tons of frog groups to join. I got pretty much what you go in my hour of farming with Singular and Grind bot. I just joined a group, loaded a profile, and let it run while I talked to my group, lol. I ran all over and looted when it was there to loot. A couple of times I got stuck on a boat, or on a tree, but all in all it went really well. I've got over 40 timeless tokens sitting in my bank toon's bank right now. No clue how to distribute them though, since I don't play all of my toons.
 
You can buy ilvl 489 gear from the Valor Quartermaster in Townlong Steppes -- no rep/valor required

Come after 48h.

PROFIT. Full 550ilvl , you're ready to kill newbyes :) let the PvE for nerds, or after you have your amazing pvp 550, go UBRS by hand get 4 pieces x550, make the new quest chain (10 mins) another 4 good pieces, and finally left two nights dungeonbuddy in SoO.

Easy & Fast, Dual gear for both content.
 
Yeah BGs are the easiest way to gear right now, you can get to 550 and raid with CRs from there. I'm not so sure you can get the 550 weapons since the season is over, only the 522's, but i might be mistaken.
