Best Spec for DK to gather/grind

Just curious what people use for their DKs in order to survive the most. I run mine on a PVP server so I run a blood spec, just not sure about individual talents.

Just Google "Blood DK spec legion" and go with the icy-veins or noxxic guide. A blood DK with below 800 gear can still taken on most every rare and packs of 3+ in Surumar, so you're good to go.

Sweet, so I was following the icy-veins spec already so I guess I got that part right. Working on leveling up to 100, slowly getting there only at 80 now. At some point I need to figure out how to farm proper gear. I might just wait until 100 if the account lasts that long.
 
If you're planning on upgrading the account to Legion and gearing up your DK at 110, just do world quests (including world boss every week). You'll get gear that more than enough to farm herbs/ore in all zones very quickly.

If you're using the default questing pack, you might run into the problems I've run into lately when using the Cataclysm profiles. The auto loader seems to keep trying to make my toon go back to Hyjal by using the death gate and then flying north until it bumps into the Ghostlands barrier. I think at level 83, I had to manually load the Uldum profile. The Uldum profile crapped out at like five bars from level 85, so I manually loaded the Twilight Highlands profile so that it'd finish off leveling to 85. Beyond 85, though, I didn't run into any problems with the questing packs.

That's some good information to know thank you. I'm actually about to hit 83 I believe so I'll have to keep an eye on it. I only run it a few hours a day so the going is a little slow right now.
 
Blood DK is the best for almost everything imo, when it comes to legion botting! ;)
