So, im making this thread to share my experience of using PokeFarmer(PF) and i want to see your useful tips.
1. Preparation
First of all, before even opening PF we need to find place where we will farm our pokemons. You can google it or find in Reddit communities.
Here is place where i am farming right now: Circular Quay in Australia (-33.8599139,151.2121163). I chose this place because its rich with water pokemons and i wanted to have strong gyrados and blastoise.
Try to use only one place to farm pokemons, dont farm one day in Australia and another day in America. Even if you will not get soft ban for teleporting, its very risky to get permanent ban in future.
2. Lvl up
On low lvls try to keep your exp/h in safe level, our objective is to not get banned and too high exp/h will be very suspicious. For me safe lvl is 13-15k exp/h and using PF 5-7 hours per day.
Now your object is to get lvl 23-25 and after this you need to reduce you exp gain to minimum. Dont try to gain lvl 30-40 as fast as you can, you will get banned for sure, maybe not now, maybe not in this week, but wave of bans will catch you.
So, how to reduce your exp gain. Put all common/weak pokemons in "Do not catch list" in PF. My pokefarmer right now catching only 25-30 types of pokemons. Also, put in settings "Skip pokestop if we have more than X pokeballs" because we dont catch a lot of pokemons, we dont need to loot pokeballs on pokestops as well. With settings like this you will have 4-5k exp/h.
3. Getting strong pokemons
The most important in pokemons is their IV. You can power up your pokemon and increase CP but you will never change IV.
Open "my pokemons" in PF, you will see IV and LVL of your pokemons.
LVL represent how much CP your pokemon have. Its hard sometimes to determine how strong pokemon based on their CP because for example Drgonite has max cp 3500 and Gyrados has only 2688. Thats why you can always rely on pokemon LVL, higher LVL means higher CP number. So evovle only pokemon with IV 90-100 and highest LVL possible.
4. Hatching eggs
If you have new account, disable automatic hatching eggs in PF settings. From lvl 1 to 23-25 do not use incubators which are given to you from lvl rewards, only use infinte incubator to hatch 2 and 5 km eggs, try to collect 9x 10km eggs. Turn off your location on mobile phone and sometimes open pokemon go to open complete eggs. When you will reach lvl 23-25 you can use all you incubators on 10km eggs. Dont forget to stop PF everytime when you open Pokemon Go on your mobile phone to avoid any problems.
