Best/Fastest way to level gathering on max char?

Ok, so I know we can just gather in Draenor, but is that actually faster than running a PB profile 1-600? Much the same? Or would I be better finding such a profile and using it?

So I haven't done this myself in WoD, but to find / make a profile for gathering in MoP since you can mine and gather nodes at any level. When you hit level 600 then switch to farming in Draenor.

Probably faster using MoP profile because the amount of nodes in WoD are a lot less than we are use to

If you are lvl 90+, you can go to Draenor zone to start and mine 1 herb node and 1 mine node. This will give you training item for each profession which raises your max to 700 (this way you do not have to visit a trainer each time you get to specific skill). After this I recommend you go back to older zones to raise your skill to 600, whichever has the most densely packed node area (not sure what zone(s) this would be but certainly any non-draenor zone will be more nodes per hour). Once you reach 600 or so skill, time to skill in Draenor zone. If you need fast skill you will have to farm Draenor zones but node per hour is very bad, maybe 70/hr if no one else farming (but could be as low as 20/hr if many players in area). If you are not in rush you can passively raise skill level by farming your garrison mine/herb garden daily. There are profiles for older zones as well as for garrison, just need to search. Yeah, I leveled a druid to 100 just to have as a gatherer on my acct. Not in an urgent rush or anything, but want to get him up and going nice and quickly. I got to around 120 or so gathering in Draenor, but it felt slow. I'll pop back to Pandaria and see how it goes using some of my old profiles there.
