Hey,

Looking at purchasing a new combat routine for PVP. Got every class 100 etc etc etc....

I have tuanHA combat routines they are great, but really looking for something new :)

What are your suggestions for a paid combat routine?

Since it's against forum rules to compare routines this will either get closed pretty fast or not get any reasonable answers.

I would suggest testing out the Routines you want to test, most of them if not all have atleast a 2-3 days trial, some even a week.

Other than that, reading the threads of the combat routines might also helps in picking out your choice.

Cheers, MoreCox

Against forum rules to discuss a product we pay for here? I guess this is my surprised face.

Better idea is to toss money away blindly. User feedback is for proper forums?

You gotta be misinformed. Gotta be.

Actually it is against the rules. It's a silly rule, but that's the rules. Transparency is usually the best way to sell products, but they're intentionally opaque here as they want people to believe that Singular is the best and capable of doing everything so people buy Honorbuddy without thinking that they also need to buy third party (superior) routines.

Both of you should work on your "reading and understanding what was written" skills.
I said it is against rules to COMPARE routines, not to discuss, this is allowed and also done quite a lot in the Routine Threads.
User feedback is highly appreciated, and you are not tossing away your money blindly, there are trials, why not use them?
I will make my wording a bit clearer for you.
You are allowed to say Routine A is great because it has Feature X and it also supports Talent Y!
You are not allowed to say Routine A is so much better than Routine B, because Routine B just sucks.

And by looking at such "comparison Threads" of the past, the comparison is mostly the latter.
I've said this one often enough here already and i will tell this anybody, if you can provide proper feedback, telling the author of Routine A why you prefer the way Routine B handles things, no developer ever would hate you for that, they most certainly listen to your feedback, think about your suggestions and maybe implement them.
But in the second case, you are helping nobody, all you do is criticize without suggesting ways to improve.
I'd rather read myself through the Threads of the combat routines than having fanboys telling me Routine A is better than B without telling my that is the case.
Also there are the Trials, and guess what they are for? To try it out yourself, nobody can decide which routine fits your needs better than yourself. so go ahead and try them.

Also I am pretty sure you will not find any routine whatsoever, which can do what singular does. If you find one which is superior to it, tell me which one? Tell me which routine can do all the basic things your superiour raid tuned routine can't do?
You wanna go questing or farming with your routine? Oh to bad, your routine doesn't support facing, handling vehicles, handling special cases like diving, etc.
Singular is the one and only routine you can use for everything this bot is advertised for. Everyone and the buddyteam itself knows that singular isn't tuned for raiding, but it's also not advertised for it, there you go, thats the whole point in why you guys can't compare routines, you proved this rule to be neccesary, because you guys do not think before you post. You said singular is inferior, and you are right in some cases, but it's also superior or even the only choice in some cases.
So if you want to compare make sure you do it right.

I'm also shamelessly pointing you to one of the threads where this has been discussed
https://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbuddy-forum/213119-compare-routines.html#post1939447

The rule may sound silly at first, but the past showed that the rule isn't that dumb at all.

cheers, MoreCox

You have to go to each routine's topic and then you can ask any question you want and get feedback. They added a new comment section to the store, but my guess is it's going to be pretty barren until more people start making comments. You can't create a post about any routine (best, worst, etc).

As MoreCox said though, if you buy from the store, most of them have a "trial period" of 2-7 days. It's more than enough to determine if you want to buy it or not.

Oh my gosh, how could I not have made the distinction between the "types" of discussion allowed. Just can't talk about them relative to others.

My....bad.....

Lol.
