whats the best class to farm old raids and old content for gold guys?

Hunters and feral I believe.

Rouge is pretty nice with burst of speed + nightstalker talent makes them run as fast as a mount while indoors. The biggest hindrance for farming old raids is time it takes to move from boss to boss and loot everything. Play a combat rogue + loot a rang item is legit. If you're looking a class that can survive anything and end fights near 100% HP with cata heroic raids and maybe even beginning MOP raids then blood DK for sure. Problem there is that DK's move very slow, so up to you which choice you would like. Fast and a little squishy or slow and a tank. Also feral druids and hunters are decent too.

Not hunters, because if the pet attacks the target and 1 hit kills it without you using an ability on it you won't be able to loot that corpse.

Balance druids are the most popular due to their aoe pull starfall. furthermore their versatility around an instance.

Imo Blood DK. Nothing is more tanky. But Warlock and Hunter are also really good.
