I'd say with the right gear - monk is best. I doubt DB will be kiting any time soon, so that locks out the ranged classes since they rely on it.
Monk and Barb rely on being able to survive taking hits - so imo they will do best in the long run. Personally, I decided to go with monk for botting since they should stack dex + resistance in order to survive (which also boosts their dps), while barbs should stack on vit and resistance, but that doesn't really help their dmg.

While writing this, I have little to no knowledge about monks taking in inferno after act 2. But my friend barb is tanking act 3 inferno like it was act 1 or 2, he just has to move out of desecration, molten etc and he's not gonna die - ever.
 
Barb if you can spend 30m gold on gear. If not Monk. Barb with the right gear are nasty they slaughter Inferno with 30k + damage 2k + life on hit, can get over 10% life steal and high resist + wrath of the berserker doubles your damage for 15s, call of the ancients is nasty. You use revenge to heal it procs a lot with the rune.
 
As Monk you only need 5000 Armor 500 Resi, 30k Life and 10-15k dps and you can kill all Mobs in Act I inferno without problems
 
Anyone successfully running a DH? Whats your setup? All I do is die, no mater what Ive tried.
 
I'm running my Demon Hunter in NM Core of Arreat with ~250GF, 12 radius and 25% Movement and I'm at 260k/hr. From what I've heard from friends running other bots before this I'm not disappointed at all.

I would also think DH would be best for gold farming.

if you want to farm inferno for items, then maybe a monk/barb for the survability. But doing azmo NM runs with a DH for gold is probably best just because of the ferret :)
 
260k is pretty low, try increasing your pick up to at least 36. I ama monk at 266GF 25Ms and 42 Pick up with 450k GPH (with heavy lag to). I think monk and maybe barb cost more to gear up though.
 
How come I DONT KNOW is not on the list LOL

working on a monk. Right now he is 55 in hell.
Can someone give me a good build with the bot?

Actually, monks are extremely expensive since they compete with DH's.

Barbs are overall very cheap for the half decent stuff and very expensive for the good stuff (since it's downright recuired for them)
 
DH works great. I disagree with Mephuser. Set Evasive Fire with Displacement rune to activate when 1x monster gets in range of you. Autobackflip any time anything gets close and continues firing. Working great on Sarkoth farming profile.
 
I'm guessing barb and monk will be better for botting inferno since once you can get gear you don't have to move out of crap on inferno.

That's assuming we get good setups to only pop certain cds on elites/champs.

Gold pickup radius seems fairly useless for this bot as even if you pick it up 30 yards away it still runs to the spot the majority of the time.
 
Monk for the best all around, least chance of dying.

But if you have a DH they do work in Nightmare (Core of Arreat). I'm at 25k dps, about 30k hp, only 140ish GF, 15 MS and I can hit near 200k/hr

I'm happy with that since I don't fell like doing any work in-game, and either way I'm still getting gold
 
Ok. I have a level 52 DH. I have around 8k DPS and could get that up higher if I changed up some items. What settings are you using to survive that well? I'm dying almost instantly when it comes to elites.
